Dr. Sheikh is a graduate of the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. After graduation Dr. Sheikh achieved his three-year residency in pediatrics at St. John Hospital and Medical center in Detroit, Michigan. For the next four (4) years Dr. Sheikh completed two fellowships at the University of Louisville; Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology as well as Mount Sinai Medical Center; Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Liver Diseases & Nutrition along with Pediatric Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation.
Dr. Sheikh has been published numerous times in select medical journals. He has also been invited to lecture on the topic of pediatric gastroenterology to pediatric residents and medical students alike. Dr. Sheikh also holds an Associate Professorships at West Virginia Medical School and East Carolina Medical School.
Dr. Sheikh has been a Las Vegas resident since 2005 when he founded Advanced Adolescent Pediatric Gastroenterology. He currently has privileges at Mountain View Hospital, Summerlin Hospital, and Spring Valley Hospital.
